Welcome to Fandom University, first-year!
As the name implies, this roleplay will take place on a college campus populated almost entirely by characters from a wide array of fandoms. This includes fellow students, professors, administrators, police, etc. In addition to this, Fandom University is the centerpiece of a local community, meaning you’ll also have an entire town to interact with! However, this roleplay will NOT include underaged characters and those who request such characters will be promptly reported and blocked.
As a student, you will obviously need to (or, at least, should) keep up with your academics as well as follow university policies. However, there will also be plenty of time to socialize with, bond with, and fuck around with an absurdly large cast of characters. In addition to all of this, you’ll undoubtedly find yourself involved in “quests” related to other characters and your academics (anyone who has played a visual-novel type game before knows what I’m talking about). These quests \*can\* be failed, since this is also a roleplay in which your actions may have consequences. And don’t worry, this roleplay won’t ask you to make dice rolls or anything, so a greater emphasis will be placed on your actions and decisions rather than a series of random numbers. Furthermore, this will be a solo roleplay and not a group roleplay, so your actions and decisions will be entirely your own to make.
I should also clarify that this roleplay will not require you to have extensive knowledge on any of the fandoms included in this roleplay. While I will be attempting to play every single one of these characters as accurately as possible (though with fun and silly twists here and there), advanced lore and canon will be disregarded (for the most part) in order to make all of these characters exist within the setting. For example, just because your French instructor is Widowmaker from Overwatch does not mean you need to know about Overwatch lore. This basically translates to you getting the chance to interact and vibe with these characters \*without\* having to do hours of research beforehand.
The following list below this paragraph is a list of fandoms I feel familiar and comfortable enough with to use for this roleplay. Also, while this list may seem large, I actually excluded quite a few fandoms in order to avoid getting falsely flagged down by a mod. For example, since Life is Strange and My Hero Academia has mostly underaged characters in them, they are not on this list despite the fact I’d only be interested in playing 18+ characters anyway (such as Alex Chen (21) from Life is Strange: True Colors and Midnight (30) from MHA).
